last Thursday I had the opportunity to play chess with the Miramar chess group. An excellent group of people, many of them from different countries and cultures...but all shared a great interest in the game of chess. Looking forward to play again !

Awesome time at Miramar Chess Club. The players are friendly. The atmosphere is very open to players of all levels.
I totally recommend Miramar Chess Club ♟ to anyone truly interested in chess. Overall is a great gathering for all different kinds of players from beginners to the pro ones!!!Everyone is very kind and welcoming. If you are a novice, look for Roberto and Pedro, they are extremely patient when introducing you to chess. They will guide you by explaining step-by-step your options when moving your game pieces as you learn to play.The meeting locations are great and vary through out the week.Oh did I mentioned, I especially love Thursday evenings @7pm where they meet at Starbucks located at 2850 Red Road -Miramar, FL 33025 😉.
Where will you find dedicated volunteers committed to starting a chess match and ending that chess match, win or lose?Here, that's where.This club has just started jumping leaps and bounds building rapport and a following in support of playing the most popular strategic game ever invented. It has been 20 years since I've had an opportunity to join a chess group. The level of play found within this group is beginner to expert.Lots to learn. Great group committed to the game of chess. Superbly organized! Don't miss this opportunity to make history and put Miramar Chess club on the map!Highly recommended!
